The National Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki attracts beer enthusiasts from all over the country seeking an assortment of local craft beers.

This year, breweries from across the nation will offer more than 150 types of their finest local beers.

Snacks made from Ichinoseki's local ingredients such as eggplant, bell peppers, and tomatoes can be purchased from local vendors. This beer event, featuring a wide variety of food, also attracts many families with children.

This year, Nobuo Uematsu, a world-renowned musician best known for composing music for the Final Fantasy series will be making an appearance! He also has a great passion for beer and collaborated with Ichinoseki breweries, Sekinoichi and NOYMOND BREWING to create "Nobuo Uematsu presents My Beer."

Pre-sales of the beer will start on the third day of the beer festival on the August 22nd, with Uematsu's band, Nobuo Uematsu con TIKI, performing.

Purchases of beer, snacks, and merchandise will be made directly at the booths. The availability of cashless payment options varies by booth.

In past years, the organizing committee determined a fixed price for a cup of beer with a ticket system. However, starting last year, the pricing has been left to the vendors. The sizes and selling methods now differ, with some breweries providing tasting sets. The options for enjoying the craft beer festival are becoming more diverse.

Some breweries will sell craft beers in bottles or cans for take-home. Why not take home a memorable beer? It could make a great souvenir!
